Of the 13 hectares in the prized Arborina cru, Veglio’s 3 hectares, along with Altare’s 3 hectares, account for a significant portion of its production. Ale’s vines are directly below the winery, with the oldest selected for the single-vineyard bottling and younger fruit used for the Classico. This wine is open and generous, featuring rich black cherry, liquorice, and violet-accented lift, alongside sweet raspberry.
